Renown for its’ natural beauty, the Brecon Beacons National Park offers some of Wales’ most spectacular scenery: wild hillsides, bubbling streams and wide open lakes and reservoirs conspire to make this area a paradise for walkers, mountain bikers and all lovers of the outdoors.

Nearby Brecon and Abergevenny are bustling towns, steeped in tradition and a way of life that has remained relatively unchanged for centuries. Tuesday and Friday are market days, a great opportunity to shop for fresh local produce and meet the characters that give the area its’ unique personality. There are a wide variety of events throughout the year among which the Brecon Jazz Festival (August) and the Hay on Wye Literature Festival (May) attract visitors from around the world.
